So let me convince you today that natural beauty isn’t just another trend that makes you seem woke and hip. And why Tea Tree Oil in particular (especially in the times we are living through right now) is an incredible ingredient that you should be using on  your skin.

1.) Tea Tree Oil = Powerful Natural Antiviral Properties

Recent interest in anti-viral products has caused a surge in traffic to our website and questions about Tea Tree Oil and it's anti-viral properties.

Our Tea Tree Oil is carefully obtained by a thorough and extensive steam distillation of the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia plant.  High quality tea tree oil is used as a central, natural disinfectant that powerfully yet gently tackles whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and other blemishes.

Tea tree oil has antiviral properties that have proven to be effective against common pathogens. A 2001 study found that a combination of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil worked effectively against viruses and a 2013 study found that tea tree oil could prevent the spread of influenza. While tests have not yet been conducted on tea tree oil’s effectiveness against the new virus, it’s certainly a possibility.

That being said we do not recommend using our tea tree oil products as hand sanitizers. Hand sanitizers are best used when you don't have access to tried and true hand washing and it's best to use hand sanitizers with more that 60% alcohol(we do not use 60% alcohol). And even hand sanitizers containing 60% alcohol can’t remove all types of germs. Studies have found that hand washing is more effective than hand sanitizers. 

Tea tree oil IS an effective antimicrobial. It has been used for centuries to clean wounds, kill acne causing bacteria and prevent infections. 

2.) Better for your skin

The number one plus point of natural skincare is that it isn’t a bunch of chemicals and ingredients you’ve never heard of. They’re made from products that can be found in nature (ie Tea Tree Oil). Which could mean you’re using products that people have incorporated in their beauty routine for generations.

A year or decade from now, they’ll still be healthier for your skin. Whereas, chemical products can cause long term damage or need to be upgraded to stronger products in the future.
