By using toothpaste:
We can get rid of acne redness by applying a dab of toothpaste on the red marks and leaving it overnight. Then wash it at morning with mild cleanser and gently dry it with towel. By applying toothpaste we can reduce redness and swelling too. It is important to note that toothpaste that contains silica is recommended for this procedure. The toothpaste that contains menthol or fluoride is prohibited for this procedure because they can worsen the problem. We must also avoid gel based toothpaste for this procedure.
By using ice cubes:
We can reduce or get rid of redness from acne by applying ice cubes on the red marks. For this we must wrap ice cubes in towel or cloth and dab it on the affected area gently. This procedure will constrict the blood vessels and slow down the blood circulation that makes the area appear red. By doing this process 2 to 5 times in a day we can overcome acne problem.
By using aspirin:
Aspirin contains salicylic acid that is helpful in removing inflammatory effects. We must crush aspirin until it is converted into powder form. Then add two to four drops of tap water to make a thick paste. Then apply this paste on the red marks and leave it for five minutes. The aspirin paste will reduce inflammation as a result redness on the skin will also reduce. Then we must wash it with warm water.
By using eye drops:
Eye drops usually contains tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride which helps to remove redness. For this we must put small amount of eye drop on the Q tip and then freeze it overnight. Then apply this cold Q tip on the affected areas gently. This cold Q tip will suppress the inflammation and relieve redness from acne.
By using lemon juice:
Lemon juice contains citric acid which is very useful in fighting bacteria and also has skin lightening components that can remove redness. For this we must soak in the lemon juice on a cotton ball and apply it gently on the red marks. Lemon juice will lighten the skin and remove redness from acne. We must avoid going to sun directly after applying lemon juice because it can damage our skin.
By using tea bags:
By putting tea bags in hot water for some time then placing it on the acne for 30 to 60 seconds we can get rid of redness from the acne. Then wash affected area with face wash or soap to remove oil and bacteria that was drawn out. It is a technique used for unclogging the clogged pores and drawing dead skin cells and bacteria to the skin surface.
By using Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera contains anti inflammatory and anti bacteria characteristics which help us not only to remove redness but it can also heal the acne. We must extract the juice from fresh Aloe Vera leaf and apply it on the acne with the help of cotton ball. Then we let it stay for some time. Then wash it with warm and clean water. By doing this process twice a day we can get rid of redness from acne. If fresh Aloe Vera is not available then we can use lotions and creams that contain Aloe Vera as a ingredient.
By using honey:
Honey is also useful to get rid of redness from acne. For this we must take little amount of honey and dab a cotton ball in it. Then apply it on the acne affected areas and leave it overnight. Then wash it at morning. By doing this process daily we can get rid of redness from acne.
